Granted, yes, it’s better than nothing. But I still find it insane to pay for crash protection and finding out the bars don’t do their job. I’ve been trying to find legit crash protection for my 2022 Fat Bob 114 so I can practice drifting in a circle but it seems like there’s no bars out there guaranteeing I won’t scratch something in a low side tip over. If anyone knows any good bars my Fat Bob, please let me know. 🙏🏼

You’re correct, it totally depends on the person and their intentions. You can crash & kill yourself the same on a 3 or 400cc cruiser as you could on a bigger bike if you go out carelessly acting crazy. To me the main deciding factor is the weight and your ability to manage it.

Harley doesn’t pay me to advertise so I’ll be de-badging my bike and covering the rest with decals or a wrap. Your bike looks way better without the badge.

The lock is useless, if they want it they will get it.

Cool video, i installed the holleywood bars and forwards on my 21 bob soon after my purchase, along with a Saddleman profiler seat. It definitely feels like a lot more control in cornering.

Bit late to the party, I know so thanks for the vid. I'm thinking of getting a side mount on my Fat Bob. I'm UK as well and run a 7x5 plate. For purposes of visual comparison, is your plate full size (legal) or smaller like mine?

Will they fit if you have Harley forward controls?

Stage 2 Fat Bob 114.S&S475 and the fuel consumption is sh1t afterwards.

Here in Australia, you would HAVE to carry extra fuel..in our remote areas, the roadhouses can be hundreds of klms apart..

Here's the ticket. Get a beater to learn on and make all your mistakes. You will learn basic skills and maint on the beater, skills that will come in handy when you get the bike you want. In the meantime, go to the dealers and test ride everything you can. That way when the right one comes along at the right price you can jump. Everyone is different, but learning to throw a 600lb bike around is different than a 400lb. Everything from the heavy clutch pull to the kickstand sinking in hot tar and toppling the bike are the things that will eventually come your way. Watched my neighbor dump his new sporty in the 1st 10 feet. Tank dented, cases scratched-the works.

What did you do with the black relay box? Did you bolt that down to the positive side as well?

Slow bike ... i almost buy this , but No

You should try the DYNA version. With a bit more room a slightly better seat. That most have upgraded anyway a bigger tank. And the engine is a bit more Harley. It’s your bike with a bit more everything. It even looks a bit more expensive. Just saying. Evolution not devolution.

I have a 114ci bob and have backed off at 193-194kms. Hard to hang onto at that speed on average roads

Do these models have a tube inside the tire?

I am thinking of getting some of these but really expensive over here in the U.K...What's the clearance like from bar to back of front fender/mudguard? I have a Pyramid plastics fender extender to keep the road crap off my oil cooler on my 2022 street Bob and want to keep it but was wondering if you would be kind enough to measure from front of bar to back tyre? would appreciate it...kudos for laying your bike down!

Good review, except regarding its ability in bends, it can do it brilliantly if you are a little bit committed. Took me some time to get in confidence doing it, but once you get there, sooooo fun! Thanks fo4 your video 👍
